Skyr Yogurt

Skyr is a traditional Icelandic yogurt that has gained popularity in recent years due to its unique taste and nutritional benefits. Sodium Carbonate

Sodium carbonate is the inorganic compound with the formula Na2CO3 and its various hydrates, all forms are white, odourless, water-soluble salts that yield alkaline solutions in water. There are two types of Sodium Carbonate, light (size : 0.7 g/cc )and dense (size : 0.9 g/cc ).  In the chemical process, soda ash light forms first, and contains 5% sodium chloride less than the dense type. The density of light sodium carbonate is about 500 Kilogram per cubic meter, and the granule size is nearly 100 micrometers. It is also suitable for the production of household chemicals and detergents  , toothpaste and industrial use. After getting soda ash light in  production process, the dehydration continues to obtain a product with higher density. Additionally, by proceeding dehydration, the sodium carbonate crystals’ size grows larger.

Sodium Formate

Its cost efficiency and versatility make it a preferred choice across multiple industries. Sodium Formate is available in several grades, including industrial grade, technical grade, and high-purity grade, typically with purity levels around 92% to 99%. It is extensively used in leather tanning as a buffering and masking agent, in oil and gas drilling fluids, textile dyeing and printing, road de-icing formulations, chemical synthesis, and as a reducing agent in various processes. Chemically, sodium formate is the sodium salt of formic acid, appearing as a white crystalline powder with excellent water solubility. Key technical properties include low moisture content, good thermal stability, high alkalinity buffering capacity, and compatibility with many inorganic and organic materials. These characteristics support consistent processing, improved reaction control, and reliable end-product quality.

Sodium Grease

Sodium grease is formulated by mixing soda soap with additives and base oils. Such mixture provides solid shear stability, high dropping point, excellent rust protection, and good lubrication

  • Soap Industry: Sodium hydroxide is an important raw material in the production of various chemical compounds, one of which is soap, detergent, and other cleaning products industry. Sodium hydroxide is used in the saponification process (turning vegetable oil into soap).
  • Petrochemical Industry: Sodium hydroxide is used in the process of refining petroleum and natural gas processing. Sodium hydroxide also plays a role in removing odors from hydrogen sulfide (H2S) and mercaptans.
  • Pulp & Paper Industry: Sodium hydroxide is used in the process of bleaching pulp and paper making with the aim of removing lignin from wood fibers, process of de-inking scrap paper, and whitening pulp.
  • Water Treatment Industry: Sodium hydroxide is used in water treatment as a chemical to neutralize the pH of water and precipitate heavy metals.
  • Pharmaceutical Industry: Sodium hydroxide is used in the production of some drugs and other pharmaceutical products (not as an active ingredient).

Sodium hypochlorite is most often encountered as a pale greenish-yellow dilute solution referred to as chlorine bleach, which is a household chemical widely used as a disinfectant and bleaching agent. Other names for sodium hypochlorite include Clorox , bleach, liquid bleach, sodium oxychloride, Javex, antiformin, showchlon, Chlorox, B-K, Carrel-Dakin Solution, Chloros, Dakin’s Solution, hychlorite, Javelle Water, Mera Industries 2MOm≥B, Milton, modified Dakin’s Solution, Piochlor, and 13% active chlorine. Sodium Hypochlorite is generally used dissolved in water at various concentrations. it is commonly used to purify drinking water and keep swimming pools hygienic.
