LLDPE Heavy Duty Film Grade Granules

LLDPE Heavy Duty Film Grade Granules are polyethylene materials developed for producing flexible films where higher mechanical strength, toughness and resistance to puncture and tearing are required. Unlike general-purpose film applications, heavy-duty films must withstand greater mechanical stress during filling, handling, stacking and transportation. LLDPE provides an advantageous combination of flexibility and toughness, allowing manufacturers to produce strong films without making them unnecessarily rigid.

The final performance depends on the resin’s density, MFR, molecular structure and comonomer composition, as well as the processing conditions used during film extrusion. Typical applications include heavy-duty industrial bags, agricultural and construction films, industrial liners, fertilizer and chemical packaging, waste collection bags and other demanding packaging products. In these applications, resistance to puncture, tear propagation, impact and stretching is often more important than maximum optical clarity. Heavy Duty LLDPE can be processed using blown film extrusion and may also be combined with LDPE, mLLDPE or other polyethylene materials to achieve a specific balance of strength, flexibility, sealability and processing stability. Film manufacturers should consider the required thickness, bag dimensions, filling weight, operating environment and extrusion equipment when selecting a suitable grade. Choosing the correct MFR and molecular structure is particularly important for maintaining stable extrusion and achieving consistent film thickness in industrial production.

LLDPE Heavy Duty Film Grade is normally supplied in sealed polymer bags designed to keep the granules clean and protected throughout storage and international transportation. Depending on the supplier and order volume, 25 kg bags and larger jumbo bags can be used for commercial shipments. For export transactions, proper palletizing and protective wrapping can further reduce the risk of bag damage and material contamination during handling and transportation. Buyers should request the TDS and COA for the exact grade and batch, paying particular attention to MFR, density and mechanical properties relevant to the intended heavy-duty film application.

FAQ LLDPE Heavy Duty Film Grade Granules

LLDPE Heavy Duty Film Grade Granules are polyethylene resin pellets designed for manufacturing strong and durable flexible films. They are particularly suitable for applications where high puncture, tear and impact resistance is required.
They are commonly used for heavy-duty bags, industrial liners, refuse bags, industrial packaging films, construction films and other thick blown-film applications. Some commercial LLDPE film grades are specifically designed for heavy-duty sacks and industrial applications.
A typical range is approximately 0.5–1.0 g/10 min at 190°C/2.16 kg. The optimum MFI depends on the film thickness, extrusion equipment and required mechanical properties. Iranian LLDPE film grades with MFI around 0.5–0.9 are also commercially available
LLDPE provides a good combination of toughness, flexibility, tensile strength, tear resistance and puncture resistance. These properties make it suitable for films that need to withstand demanding mechanical conditions.
Yes. LLDPE can be blended with LDPE to improve processing behavior, bubble stability and other film properties. The appropriate blend ratio depends on the extrusion line, film thickness and desired final properties.
