HDPE Granules

HDPE is a technical material with an ideal balance of performance, processability, and cost. Its versatility has made it a benchmark in multiple industrial sectors. It is one of the most common forms of polyethylene, characterized by a highly linear molecular structure and a density between 0.94 and 0.97 g/cm³.

High-density polyethylene (HDPE) is a widely used thermoplastic in the plastics industry due to its excellent balance of mechanical strength, flexibility, low weight, and chemical resistance. The available HDPE granules  , Thanks to their  high density and low branching,  offer great rigidity and tensile strength compared . their  structure give them  superior dimensional stability, low moisture absorption, and notable impact resistance , even at low temperatures .  meanwhile they  have very good chemical resistance to acids, alkalis, alcohols, and saline solutions, making them ideal for applications requiring inert behavior. Additionally, it resists environmental stress cracking and is safe for food contact, which explains its widespread use in consumer product packaging. High-density polyethylene is easily processed through methods like injection molding, extrusion, blow molding, and rotational molding .  the supplied granules can be  used to manufacture rigid packaging, bottles, containers, drums, water and gas pipes, geomembranes, industrial boxes, toys, technical components, and molded parts.

These HDPE granules have a melting point of around 130 °C and can operate continuously in applications up to 80–90 °C and to make them suitable for prolonged UV exposure ,special  stabilized can be  added to the  granules. HDPE granules are  fully recyclable and  their  ability to be reprocessed without significant loss of properties makes it an excellent material for reusable products and multi-life-cycle applications.

FAQ HDPE Granules

HDPE Granules are widely used for manufacturing bottles, containers, pipes, films, household products, industrial components, crates, tanks, packaging materials and various injection-molded products.
Common commercial grades include injection molding grades, blow molding grades, extrusion grades, film grades and pipe grades, with each grade formulated to provide properties suitable for its intended processing method and application.
The required melt flow index, density, mechanical strength, processing method, impact resistance, chemical resistance, color and final application should be considered when selecting an appropriate HDPE grade.
Certain HDPE grades are manufactured for food-contact applications, provided that the specific grade complies with the applicable food-contact regulations and requirements of the destination market.
HDPE Granules are commonly supplied in 25 kg bags, while jumbo bags or other customized packaging can be arranged depending on the manufacturer's specifications and export requirements.
