Natural Graphite Chips

Natural Graphite Chips are supplied in several grades based on fixed carbon content, chip size, and purity, commonly ranging from 85% to over 99% carbon. Available types include large flake graphite chips, medium-size graphite chips, and screened granular graphite, each tailored to specific industrial uses. Key applications include refractories and crucibles, carbon raisers in steel and foundry operations, expandable graphite production, brake linings, gaskets, sealing materials, and high-temperature insulation systems. In metallurgical processes, graphite chips improve thermal shock resistance and enhance slag control, while in chemical and mechanical industries they serve as stable fillers and functional carbon materials. Chemically, graphite chips consist primarily of elemental carbon with low ash content and trace minerals such as silica and alumina.
