Diesel Antifreeze

Commercial diesel antifreeze products are available in several types, including alcohol-based, non-alcohol (synthetic), and multifunction winter additives that combine antifreeze, cetane improvers, and fuel stabilizers. Typical formulations contain low-molecular-weight alcohols or glycol ethers, cold-flow improvers, anti-waxing agents, dispersants, and corrosion inhibitors designed to absorb moisture and prevent ice crystal formation in diesel fuel. Diesel antifreeze is widely used in passenger diesel vehicles, heavy-duty trucks, buses, agricultural machinery, generators, and industrial diesel engines. It is compatible with ultra-low sulfur diesel (ULSD) and biodiesel blends when dosed correctly, helping to maintain injector cleanliness, reduce fuel filter plugging, and ensure consistent combustion performance under sub-zero conditions.
