Glass fiber Reinforced Plastic Pipe that the matrix is Epoxy resin are called GRE pipes , these pipes consist of C-Glass fiber for the first internal layer and some cases for the last layer and middle layers can be produced by E-Glass fiber , in these pipes Epoxy resins are as matrix .

The well known process to produce GRE pipes is Discontinuous filament winding and no filler will be used specially for oil and petrochemical projects. Glass Reinforced Epoxy or GRE pipes are a valid alternative to carbon steel pipes, especially for corrosive, aggressive, and normal environments.

Range of diameters are available from 25mm and above , pressure range an be up to 120 BAR for the pipe and fitting both . GRE pipes are Light weight, convenient installation, corrosion resistance, thermal insulation, smooth inner surface, excellent insulation, long service life . they can be installed underground and above ground . GRE pipes offer a unique combination of high mechanical, thermal, and chemical resistance which is obtained by the selection of high-performance components and a proper design of the structure.
