Stranded Copper Building Wire

Stranded Copper Building Wire is available in several standard types, most commonly as Class 2 or Class 5 conductors with PVC, XLPE, or LSZH insulation. Common designations include NYAF, flexible building wire, and panel wiring cables manufactured in accordance with IEC, VDE, and local electrical standards. Wire sizes are specified in mm² or AWG, covering a broad range for lighting circuits, socket outlets, distribution lines, and control wiring. These wires are widely used in conduit systems, electrical panels, switchboards, elevators, HVAC systems, and building grounding networks. From a technical perspective, stranded construction provides better vibration resistance, reduced risk of conductor fatigue, excellent bending performance, uniform insulation thickness, stable temperature ratings, and low voltage drop under continuous load.
