Vinyl Primer

Vinyl Primers are available in single-pack and two-component systems, with zinc-containing and non-zinc grades depending on the level of corrosion protection needed. Common applications include steel structures, ship hulls, marine equipment, pipelines, storage tanks, bridges, industrial machinery, and offshore installations. Key advantages include very fast drying, strong adhesion to properly prepared surfaces, good resistance to moisture, salts, oils, and chemicals, and compatibility with vinyl, epoxy, chlorinated rubber, and polyurethane topcoats. Typical properties include low film thickness, smooth film formation, good flexibility, and suitability for use in medium to high corrosive environments.
