• Single-face corrugated board , The most basic type, consisting of a single corrugated layer glued to a flat liner, often used for wrapping or light packaging.
• Single-wall corrugated board, A single layer of corrugated fluting sandwiched between two flat linerboards, suitable for most consumer goods packaging.
• Double-wall corrugated board, Two layers of corrugated fluting with three flat linerboards, providing increased strength for heavier items.
• Triple-wall corrugated board, Three layers of corrugated fluting with four flat linerboards, offering maximum strength for very heavy or fragile items.

corrugation patterns  or Flute types  can be :

• A-flute: Thick, large flutes, providing high compression strength, ideal for stacking heavy items.
• B-flute: Medium-sized flutes, good balance of strength and flexibility.
